Collection & Storage
We will explore how nectar is collected, cured, and stored inside the beehive. You’ll have the opportunity to witness the process of honey being carefully removed directly from the hive.
Uncapping & Extraction
We will demonstrate the uncapping process and show how honey is extracted from the honeycomb. Kids will have a blast turning the handle, making it a fun and interactive experience for all.
Bottling
Finally, you will have the chance to bottle your own sample of local honey to try and take home.
